Saxophonist Ryan Raziano is an in demand multi-instrumentalist and composer from the southern Mississippi area. His instruction began with local sax legend Jerry Ball and later continued with Larry Panella, Dr. Lawrence Gwozdz, and Luigi Zaninelli.
His adaptability has enabled him to perform with a diverse range of artists such as The Temptations, Cassandra Wilson, The Mississippi Gospel Choir, Benjamin Wright, the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, and many others. For the past few years he has been touring internationally with the B.B. King All-Stars and spending time between New York and Mississippi.
The Ryan Raziano Quartet was recently formed as a modern jazz collective between some of the best jazz musicians he’s had the pleasure to work with while in South Mississippi. Pianist Buddy Dubourg from Pass Christian, David Pellow from Pittsburg, and Pete Wehner from Mobile come together with vastly unique perspectives to find common ground. This empathy-driven mindset allows them to perform original and modern music with a constant sense of exploration and discovery. Their debut album “Blue into Gray” was released on January 5, 2019.
